Another Free Restriction (I know, right?)

Does anybody know of some good movies out right now? How about any holiday type movies? That reminds me of a holiday movie that came out about four years ago. In my view, and many others, this movie is possibly the worst movie ever. Ever. It is at least, by far, the worst holiday movie in recent history. This movie is Christmas with the Kranks, directed by Joe Roth. It is basically about getting the Christmas spirit back to their lives, yet the main characters accomplish this in the most uneventful and boring way. I'd have to agree with the cover of the movie, no ho ho. Seriously.

Anything Having to do with Film

It's more or less a free day today (less because I still have to talk about film). Is it alright if I talk about movie theatres? Well, many times when I go to a certain theatre and order a hot dog, the bun is stale/hard. It isn't very appealing. Is it too much to ask for non crusty buns (take that as you like)? I haven't really had any other complaints, though. Scratch that. The prices stink!

Western: Clementine ------> Jill

Once Upon A Time in the West directed by Sergio Leone was (so far) my favorite movie in the class. I thought the use of motiffs had a good result. Each character had his or her own theme song. The reason for the title was the stark contrast I saw between My Darling Clementine and this movie. Personally, I like this movie much, much more. I hade a hard time getting used to Henry Fonda as the good guy, he plays a great villian!

Intro + Kane

In a very odd turn of events, I have like three blogs now. First, I made a blog but forgot to link the website. When I found out I tried too, but I forgot my screen name and password. I decide to make a new blog. As I am in the middle of making it, my computer shuts down. I was thinking, "well I guess I have to make a new one." I do. When I do, I find out that the other one was atually created (oh and I forgot the password to my third blog as well). So I essentially have three useless blogs.
On a different note, Citizen Kane was the first black and white movie that I thought was interesting. It was an eyeopener. I thought that the plot was cool, Kane was kind of odd to me though.
